The Cat that Keeps on Giving

 Max stood out from the litter. For his owner, it was love at first sight. Max’s huge personality charmed both people and his feline companions, including his furry friend, Farley. In 2002, Max’s person received a unique Christmas gift from her mother, $25 and a challenge to do something good with the money. The next month a tragedy occurred. Farley, visibly upset, returned home one day without Max.  Both his human mom and Farley grieved the loss of this special guy. Family and friends turned the loss into something positive. They took that original $25 and grew it into the Max Memorial Fund so that Max’s spirit would live on. The fund, supported through monetary donations from people like you, as well as  in-kind donations from Cat Care Professionals, allows some cats to get care they wouldn’t otherwise receive. Max’s human mom still misses him, but we’re guessing the good this fund does would have made him purr. Contact us to donate.
